Round Table Pizza Fundraiser
and Bake Sale
We hosted our second annual fundraiser and bake sale at Round Table Pizza on March 20, 2025. It was a wonderful turnout and a terrific success. Guests enjoyed delicious Round Table favorites, with a generous portion of those sales going directly to FUR. Volunteers, fosters and some wonderful supporters of our cause all donated their time and baking talent to create yummy cookies, cakes, breads, cupcakes and other treats to sell at our Bake Sale, and all those proceeds, along with several lovely gifts we offered up through our Raffle Baskets made this an event we will do again in 2026!

Golf Tournament Fundraiser at Bidwell Park Golf Course
Friends United in Rescue's first-ever golf tournament fundraiser was held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Bidwell Park Golf Course and was a tremendous success! Supporters gathered for a day on the course filled with excitement, generosity and a shared commitment to helping kittens in need. Thanks to the support of players, sponsors and volunteers, the event raised vital funds and marked a major milestone for FUR. Reservations for this event included a quick breakfast, a hot lunch, and beverages as well as some competitions for a Hole in One, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and a Putting contest. We also showcased a silent auction as well as raffle baskets for some incredible gifts donated by businesses in the community. Lots of fun was had by all!

FUR's Fashion Show, Bazaar and Bake Sale Fundraiser
FUR's Inaugural Fashion Show and Bazaar was held on December 13, 2025 at The Chico Eagles Event Hall and was a very exciting and highly successful fundraiser filled with style, energy, and tremendous community spirit. Guests enjoyed a vibrant, colorful show, alongside a bustling bazaar featuring vintage clothing vendors including Bootleg, 6th Street Thrift, Opium Den, BettyRocketVintage and Sentimental, whose delightful models walked the runway in fabulous fashions to "cat themed" music, instantly bringing a spark to the room that was felt by all. We were fortunate to have Linda Watkins-Bennett and Deryl Northcote as our emcees, and FUR had amazing raffle baskets and a bake sale, as well as a no-host bar and complimentary popcorn which rounded out the evening. Fun, laughter and music for all in attendance! We are already planning a second show for 2027.
